From a Letter…by Mary H.
Mary H. wrote us a sincere, heart-felt letter which I thought should be shared with our readers. She represents all that’s right with America and expresses her outrage with some of what is wrong. Perhaps it will touch a nerve with some of you:
“I am in stark disagreement with almost everything coming out of Washington these days but am not surprised. The current administration is doing what they said they would do. We the People have allowed it. In my opinion politicians are running for office, not because they care for our country or the condition thereof, but because they wish to snag a prestigious, high paying office with perks, benefits, and power at the taxpayers expense.
We have deserted Israel, our one and only democratic ally in the Middle East and what are our politicians doing about it? Nothing! Do We the people not have the right under the constitution to fire those in congress that are leading our country into socialism? Article II Section 4 of the constitution (remember, that document given to us by our founding Fathers that has kept us on a path of sovereignty for these many years) clearly states “The President, Vice President, and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes or Misdemeanors. The definition of treason can be found in Webster’s Dictionary. Betrayal of trust or faith. Violation of One’s allegiance to Sovereign or State. Betrayal of One’s Country esp. the U. S. (as declared in the constitution). Consisting only in levying war against the U. S. or in giving aid and comfort to it’s enemies. This says we do! But have we? No, we allow them to continue to destroy our Sovereignty.
Why are these people, that have committed High Crimes against the U. S. in giving aid and comfort to our enemies, while treating our ally and once friend with such disdain, still in office?”
Stop the madness in Washington.
