Never let a good crisis go to waste!

This should be Obama’s campaign slogan the next time he attempts to “hornswoggle” the American people! Obama sees ANY crisis as a political opportunity. Liberals are NOT about solutions, but about power and prestige.

Case in point: A segment of the public is without health-insurance (NOT health care). Obama and his co-conspirators (as the liberals have often tried in the past) then, through lies and propaganda, elevate this fact to a crisis, a national emergency. He does NOT solve the purported crisis, but he manages to nationalize 1/6 of the U.S. economy.

Obama, Al Gore and the rest of the snake oil salesmen have been manufacturing this “global warming” crisis, this great swindle, this bold faced lie! It’s NOT about solving what they will have you believe is an ecological crisis, a human crisis. It’s about creating a political opportunity. Cap and trade is NOT designed to address this so called “global warming crisis”, it’s designed to enrich the governments of the world, empower governments of the world, and drive up costs for the consumer. Anthropological global warming is merely a political tool.

The Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico is only the latest tool which is being exploited by Obama and the usual suspects. For nearly 6 weeks oil has been flowing into the Gulf of Mexico. What is the federal response? They’re holding congressional hearings before the problem has even been solved, hearings to determine how this happened, to find someone to blame, to vilify BP. We’re also getting tough presidential posturing from Obama with priceless one-liners like “plug the damn hole”. Now THAT’S presidential leadership when we need it!

Louisiana Governor, Bobby Jindal, requested help at the beginning of the month. He needed money, equipment, man power and federal permits to build berms or barrier islands which would go a long way toward preventing a massive ecological disaster from the oil spill. Not only has Louisiana only received a mall fraction of equipment required to help combat the onslaught of oil on its shores, but the permits for the berms have been denied! The feds have essentially turned their backs on Louisiana. Sure, they’ll send some lackies there for a photo op, create the illusion of concern and action. But they’re not helping, they need this crisis to bolster their agenda.

So, no help from the feds! God forbid if partial credit for a solution would go to a Republican Governor. Obama could not tolerate anyone other than himself taking credit for a solution. So much for his promise of “reaching across the aisle” and working with Republicans. But Obama is not interested in real solutions.

This should be Obama’s Katrina! But where is the popular and media outcry over this lack of real response from the administration for 6 weeks and counting?! Where is Geraldo Rivera wearing waders, up to his hips in oil sludge, holding up a flightless, dying pelican drenched in oil? Where is the media laying the aftermath of this oil spill squarely at the feet of Obama, the exact same way it would have been done were Bush still in the White House? Where are the environ-mentalists protesting Obama for killing the wildlife and destroying our environment?? They are nowhere to be found. More hypocrisy!

On a visit to a solar manufacturer in Fremont, CA he said:

“We’re not going to be able to sustain this kind of fossil fuel use. The planet can’t sustain it.”

See, there it is. He took this opportunity, using this crisis as a political tool, to contrast the potential of clean energy with the environmental perils of fossil fuel, reflected in what he called a “heartbreaking” gulf oil spill.

Hey Obama, if it’s so heartbreaking…do something!
