American prudishness seems to apply as much to the word “socialist” as it does to nudity. Calling a democrat a “socialist” in America is almost one of the worst things you could say. It is instantly perceived as “name calling” rather than an identification of political ideology. Could it be because some of the most unpleasant characters throughout human history have had socialist tendencies?

This country has tried to escape socialism, communism, despotism, dictatorships, monarchies and tyrannies from its inception. Socialists have, historically, been vilified for good reason. Socialism is, by its very definition, antithetical to the principles upon which the United States were founded. Ironically, even the socialists among us, especially the socialists among us, are offended by the label. They know socialism is considered “wrong” or undesirable, though they nonetheless espouse socialist philosophies, instead describing themselves as “progressives”. They come up with other nonsensical names, too.

In Europe nudity can be found everywhere. They’re not afraid of it. On broadcast television, in any or all magazines, billboards, you name it. Nudity is normal, natural, they’re not afraid of it like we are here. Nearly any amount of skin displayed in public here is given at least an “R” rating and “wardrobe malfunctions” are viewed with greater criticism than the take-over of 1/6 of our nation’s economy!

They’re not afraid of the word socialism in Europe either because it’s everywhere. It’s as normal as a pair of well formed female breasts on a billboard advertising Pop Tarts.

Let’s look at English, Labour Party prime ministers in the 20th century. James MacDonald, Clement Attlee, Harold Wilson and James Callaghan, for example, defined themselves as socialists without reservation. Even Tony Blair, who was considered to be on the far right of the Labour Party has been known to describe himself as “coming to Socialism through Marxism”. This would be a stunning admission by any US politician, and would surely lead to a removal from power in the following election cycle. Our very nature, our history tells us socialism is BAD!

So if socialists are so reviled, why is socialism so embraced? They hide it well with alternate names and lies.

Here’s another sobering fact about the English. From 1918 until 1994, Labour’s well known Clause IV of its Constitution was intended:

“To secure for the workers by hand or by brain the full fruits of their industry and the most equitable distribution thereof that maybe possible upon the basis of the common ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange, and the best obtainable system of popular administration and control of each industry or service.”

In other words, state control of everything and wealth distribution. What a coincidence! That’s what Obama has been doing: taking over banks, financial institutions, part of the auto industry and 1/6 of the nation’s economy in the form of this so called “health care reform”, a.k.a. BFD (Been F***ed by Democrats)! In the words of Barack Hussein Obama, “I think when you spread the wealth around it’s good for everybody.” How can you fail to recognize the glaring similarities?! Obama defines socialism!

After Tony Blair took office in 1994, Clause IV was re-written:

“The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many, not the few.”

The paragraph was merely re-written to say the same thing in a nicer, less threatening way since “hands of the many” is synonymous with “government”. Notice they included “democratic” in the text, an attempt to water down the full force of the word “socialist”.

Oh, it’s all very clever, no more than a game of semantics. It’s a game played by those who usually lecture the rest of us that “it’s not a black and white world”. Sure, it’s real easy to hide who and what you are when you loose yourself in your shades of gray. But as the old saying goes:

“If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, guess what? Chances are pretty good it’s a duck!”

To quote Obama himself: “You can put lipstick on a pig. It’s still a pig”.

Same goes for you, Barry. You can dress up nice, read the teleprompter like a pro, make grand promises, tell outrageous lies, make hope and change sound like the greatest thing since sliced bread, but when all these elements merely combine to promote your socialist agenda and form the first socialist regime in American history, you merely confirm what you are: A Socialist!

And guess what usually happens when freedom-loving people finally realize their liberties are being threatened? Revolution!

There are national socialists, christian socialists, liberal socialists, democratic socialists, social democrats, socialism comes in many flavors. But at the end of the day you are still a socialist. They ALL have important traits in common:

1. They love big government.

2. They seek the nationalization of industry.

3. They impose massive taxes.

4. They engage in wealth re-distribution.

5. They aim to make all citizens dependent on government.

6. They put all trust in government, NOT the individual. Individualism is stifled, group think encouraged.

More than ever, Europeans are laughing at us, especially the English. They live with socialism on a daily basis, in a socialist country, with a self-described socialist party, a self-described socialist prime minister who took over from the former self-described socialist prime minister. They are watching Obama and our democratic law makers and they recognize what they already have: A socialist government with a low-quality, ineffective national health care system (coming soon to a state near you). We have the former and are well on our way to suffering under the latter. Socialism at its finest!

But you see, many Europeans know this already. They know who Obama is and many approve of his socialistic ideals. It’s the American people, however, who have yet to fully realize the full extent of what the Obama regime intends to inflict on the masses. They have to realize that Obama is ashamed of this country, intends to punish the United States for any real or imagined crimes or sins committed since its founding, wishes to cast aside the unique governmental formula which made this country great, and replace it with the one employed by dictators and tyrants throughout the world since the beginning of time. He wants to create a permanent underclass, thereby gradually increasing the scope and power of the government…sorry, of the “hands of the many”, a less intimidating shade of gray.

Luckily, Obama’s disapproval numbers show some hope. His increasing unpopularity is a promising indicator that the truth is finally being realized in greater numbers than those who elected him into office:

Obama is a socialist. That is the simple truth. It is not conspiratorial nor is it fear-mongering to say so. It is not a theory, a presumption, a guess, an accusation, a lie or my imagination! The rest of the world knows it. It’s time we realized it, too!
