It’s starting!

The Regressives are showing their hands, clearly laying out their political strategy in the absence of any real ideas and solutions other than to a) expand the role of government and its power over our lives, and b) to raise taxes.

Obama regime sycophants such as Time columnist Joe Klein and New York Magazine’s John Heilemann seem to be suggesting Nazi-style witch hunts to root out and eliminate those who oppose our nation being turned into a socialist state. They said as much on yesterday’s “The Chris Matthews Show”. According to Klein:

“people like Glenn Beck and to a certain extent Sarah Palin, rub right up close to being seditious”.

Heilemann chimed in with:

“And Joe’s right and I’ll name another person, I’ll name Rush Limbaugh…”

Mr. Klein, Mr. Heilemann, you are accusing Mr. Beck, Ms. Palin and Mr. Limbaugh of a federal crime. For, in Palin’s case, saying “un-American”!! That’s quite a leap to “sedition”, Joe. You’re a lunatic. You are doing so without justification other than the fact that they are a threat to your freedom and America-hating Weltanschauung. Where were you when John Kerry threatened President Bush’s life? Wasn’t that a crime?

Do you really want to go down this road? Just listen to yourselves. You want to silence them simply because you don’t like what they have to say. Without just cause you want to deny Mr. Beck, Ms. Palin and Mr. Limbaugh their 1st amendment rights. Shame on you. This is precisely the kind of strategy which contributed to Adolf Hitler’s rise to power. Remember that guy? Didn’t he murder millions of your people, Mr. Klein? Shame on you. You are a disgrace to your people and to humanity. You are a glaring, shining example of how people really do not learn a thing from history. It’s right there to teach us. Open your eyes!

Heilemann responds to Rush Limbaugh referring to the current administration as “the Obama regime” (a wonderfully truthful phrase which occurred to me as well), saying the phrase

“has connotations of tyranny”.

Bingo! You got that right. It sure is heading in that very direction. Well done, John.

One could also argue that Obama is not legally eligible to be President, based on the fact that he has NEVER produced a birth certificate proving his birth in this country. For if he was born here, why not simply produce it and put our minds at ease. It’s very simple. But he has not even though he was required to. Very suspicious.

It could be said that Obama, Klein and Heilemann are attempting to subvert the U.S. constitution. Obama by ramming through an unconstitutional health reform bill, Klein and Heilemann by advocating the denial of our 1st amendment rights. Consequently, we are “rubbing right up close to treason”, aren’t we!?

I made a few little notes on a napkin, Joe. I looked up the definition of “treason”:

“a crime that undermines the offender’s government, disloyalty by virtue of subversive behavior, an act of deliberate betrayal”

That pretty much defines the Obama regime and egomaniacal sycophants such as yourselves.

Listening to you two whiners is like listening to public service announcements from Ozzy Osbourne urging us to “just say no to drugs”. It’s just a bit hypocritical!

And John, you were looking for a “triggering incident” which you, of course, require before anyone is allowed to question authority? How about the election of an illegal, socialist President, who is hell bent on nationalizing industry, subverting the constitution and imposing full blown socialist policies on our republic? Does that pass the trigger threshold for you?
